Speaking of Qabbalah, you might like to tip people of Alan Moore's fabulous series Promethea. Especially the later issues where Promethea is in the immaterial plane explain the Tarot and the Sephiroth (as well as the Qlipoth, but not explored in great depth) in simple ways which anybody can comprehend if Gershom Scholem's works or Crowley's Tarot explanations seem too difficult. It has recently been published in an Absolute edition, oversised hardcover with slipcase (the first volume of four).

I loved that issue! I also tried to publish it here in Greece, but my publisher though of it otherwise…

The problem with graphic novels/comics is that there has to be a demand for them in the native tongue of the market and here in Sweden while Watchmen, V For Vendetta have been translated to Swedish (during the Alan Moore movies craze) a lot of people still buy the English versions. I personally always read a book in the original language unless I don't know it, in which case I try to find the best translation.

Promethea would be a challenge to translate in all languages due to for instance the Tarot issue where the serpents talk in rhyming poetry. However a lot of Vertigo titles like Swamp Thing, Sandman, Hellblazer, V For Vendetta, Watchmen have been featured a long time ago in Swedish action comics, they just didn't receive enough acclaim until today. Some day people will read Promethea and think like myself that it's the best thing Moore has written so far. Actually all of his America's Best Comics line he is in charge of now is wonderful.
