Essays gathered in this book were written by members of Lodge Magan active in the years 2002-2010.
The first edition, released in January 2004, was a collection of chosen texts which until then were available only in Polish and published on Magan’s old website. They explained the basics of the Left Hand Path philosophy and covered a few chosen themes closely related to this path of spiritual progress.
In the current second edition these texts were revised and updated, and some of them were removed and replaced by a more recent material.

This book is a collection of fifteen texts on chosen aspects of the Left Hand Path, including essays, rituals and pathworkings. The articles cover such themes as:

The Lodge Magan of Dragon Rouge has been in focus regarding activity (copared to other Dragon Rouge Lodges) and that is mostly to Asenath Masons published works along with the Lodge's magazine. As Latin was the lingua mundi in middle ages so must important articles and works regarding magickal arts be comprehensible and available to those that understand and can draw benefit from them in English.

I received the book yesterday and I already read the first chapters. The book is amazing and well written… as far D.R., Lodge Magan is no longer part of Ordo Draconis et Atri Adamantis, but I believe you know this…!

As I am not a member of DR I had no idea about the schism. The webpage of the order doesn't mention anything about it, except that the link to the Lodge Magan no longer exists. However the Magan page has a short paragraph in red in its introduction about the schism and if one would believe the reasons for it then Dragon Rouge is a very naughty order :(
However when dealing with magickal disciplines nowadays in this consumer society where one is very dependent on money to live, it's difficult to assume the role of the diligent magus who devotes all his time to the craft. Being myself poor as a church rat I know how the angst of living, what to eat tomorrow and how to spend the limited budget one lives on etc overshadows the spiritual discipline and rather turns man into beast, than into a god.
